Ever spend many nights crying over a relationship that didn’t work?

Ever wonder why, what happened, where did you go wrong or why were you treated so badly after initially being treated like royalty?

If you’ve ever felt this way, what you may not immediately realize is that since God has a plan for your life, all things still work together for good even when things don’t work out the way you planned. (Romans 8:28)

The relationship that didn’t work out may be a blessing in disguise.

Oftentimes we get caught up in the “now” when God sees the big picture. He looks into your future so He may have seen your “ex’s” true colors’ way before you did, or God may have seen them being hurtful and abusive before you got a chance to experience such pain.

Though it may appear you lost something once the relationship ended, it really is a start to a new beginning.

Just like the children of Israel – when God used Moses to deliver them out of Egypt they didn’t initially want to go because they felt being chained and enslaved was far better than being free, hungry and cold (Exodus 16:3)

Of course we know God ultimately, by way of Moses, fed them manna from heaven and kept them warm with fire by night… but while they were ‘going through to get to’ the promised land, they couldn’t see the victory.

So as you go from one relationship, thank God for delivering you out of an Egypt-type relationship and trust and believe that God is leading you to your promised land and that there is victory, joy and happiness waiting for you on the other side.
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place.  2 Corinthians 2:14
In every thing give thanks:  for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.  1 Thessalonians 5:18
