Who we are. This website and the products sold on it are operated by Driven Light Productions LLC, the business of author and book coach Kim Brooks. By using this site or buying from us, you agree to these terms.
We sell books, digital programs, and coaching materials about writing and publishing. Each product page describes what is included. When you buy, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use that material yourself.
You may not resell, republish, share your login, or distribute our paid material.
We teach a method and we share what has worked. We do not promise that you will finish a book, get published, sell a particular number of copies, or earn any specific amount. What you get out of it depends on your own effort and consistency. Any examples or testimonials are individual experiences, not typical results, and not a guarantee.
Prices are shown in US dollars and are charged at checkout. Where shipping applies to a physical book, the shipping cost is shown separately before you pay. Your card details are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store them.
Because our programs give immediate access to digital material, purchases are final and we do not offer refunds. If something goes wrong with your order, such as a book that does not arrive or material you cannot access, contact us and we will make it right.
Physical books ship to the address you enter at checkout. We will confirm when your order goes out. Delivery times depend on the carrier.
If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages from Driven Light Productions LLC, the following applies. Agreeing to texts is always optional and is never required in order to buy anything.
What to expect. Driven Light Productions LLC may send you messages about your order and its delivery, the programs you have joined, appointment and event reminders, and, if you agreed to marketing messages, offers and updates about our books and coaching.
How to stop, and how to get help. You can opt out at any time: reply STOP to any message you receive from us, and we will stop sending them. For assistance, reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or email us at [email protected].
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Frequency and cost. Message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you by us or to us by you.
We do not share mobile numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing. See the Privacy Policy.
If you join our email list we will send you publishing tips and occasional offers. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and using it stops them.
Keep your login details to yourself. We can suspend access to paid material if it is shared, resold, or used in a way that damages other users or us.
The writing, images, and course material on this site belong to Driven Light Productions LLC unless stated otherwise, and are protected by copyright.
This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon or Meta.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected to these terms or our products is limited to what you paid us for the product in question. Nothing here removes a right you have that cannot legally be removed.
We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
