As we continue on life’s journey, we must remember to thank God for small victories, and to praise Him at all times along the way.

No matter what you’re going through, whether it’s a sudden job loss since the pandemic, recent breakup, painful divorce or healing from a broken heart, we must remember to praise God through each and every storm. Psalm 23:4 reads, Yea, though I walk THROUGH the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil…   The key with this Scripture is that it denotes going THROUGH the valley.

You don’t want to just sit and wallow in the valley, you want to get up, and you want to praise your way through.

There is victory on the other side of your praise.   When you praise God in the midst of what you’re going through you are telling Him, “I trust You; I believe all things will work together for my good even in this situation, and it ain’t over!”  Don’t give the enemy a single victory in your life.   His aim is to steal, kill, and destroy whether it’s stealing your joy, killing your dream, or destroying the life within you.

However, Jesus came so that you may have life, and that more abundantly, which means life as God would have it. (John 10:10)
Praise God because He’s the one who’s causing you to survive and thrive during a pandemic.

You’re making history, RIGHT NOW, your grands and great-grands and/or great nieces and nephews will read about this season in history books as you share how everyone wore masks for months and had to socially distance as they listen in awe.

You’re surviving THROUGH IT, and God is keeping you and leading you THROUGH.

But while going through, remember to praise Him along the way, as He has reminded us, even as we go through this, that we still have many things to be thankful for.

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. Hebrews 13:5
