Live Regret Free 2022!

Ever look back over your life to see where mistakes were made?

Ever taken inventory and possibly made a list of past boyfriends and thought about where the relationship went wrong or even asked yourself, “Why did I ever get with him? What was I thinking???”

Ever thought about possible relationships you never gave a chance for whatever reason and now it’s too late so you’re stuck thinking about what could have been?

If you’ve ever had these heart meditations, know that it’s completely normal.

We’ve all looked back at some point of our lives.

The key is to not stay stuck looking back.

Instead of wallowing in the past and creating your own storybook of your life where the ending is, “If only I…”  look ahead and continue to move forward.

Learn from past mistakes, pray for those who have wronged you, and keep going.

Know that today, you’re wiser, smarter and better because you have matured in life and in your relationship with Christ.

God still has a bright future for you, in spite of your past.

If you really believe all things work together for your good, then all things work together for your good, including past decisions. (Romans 8:28)

Live life regret free.

Learn from and see the blessing in everything.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Ephesians 3:20

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. Proberbs 4:18

Praising God through a Pandemic

As we continue on life’s journey, we must remember to thank God for small victories, and to praise Him at all times along the way.

No matter what you’re going through, whether it’s a sudden job loss since the pandemic, recent breakup, painful divorce or healing from a broken heart, we must remember to praise God through each and every storm. Psalm 23:4 reads, Yea, though I walk THROUGH the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil…   The key with this Scripture is that it denotes going THROUGH the valley.

You don’t want to just sit and wallow in the valley, you want to get up, and you want to praise your way through.

There is victory on the other side of your praise.   When you praise God in the midst of what you’re going through you are telling Him, “I trust You; I believe all things will work together for my good even in this situation, and it ain’t over!”  Don’t give the enemy a single victory in your life.   His aim is to steal, kill, and destroy whether it’s stealing your joy, killing your dream, or destroying the life within you.

However, Jesus came so that you may have life, and that more abundantly, which means life as God would have it. (John 10:10)
Praise God because He’s the one who’s causing you to survive and thrive during a pandemic.

You’re making history, RIGHT NOW, your grands and great-grands and/or great nieces and nephews will read about this season in history books as you share how everyone wore masks for months and had to socially distance as they listen in awe.

You’re surviving THROUGH IT, and God is keeping you and leading you THROUGH.

But while going through, remember to praise Him along the way, as He has reminded us, even as we go through this, that we still have many things to be thankful for.

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. Hebrews 13:5
